Dr. Solomon has been called to an urgent meeting and will be unable to join us for our planned talk. We are working with her office to confirm a new date, which we will announce in the coming days. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope that you will join us when we have rescheduled the event.

The Irish Chamber of Commerce in Sweden is delighted to offer members and their guests the opportunity to listen to a global expert in epidemiology and healthcare.

Dr Lulit Solomon (MPhil, PhD) is at the forefront of global healthcare leadership, with extensive experience of therapeutic and epidemiological practice, and in developing products for the bio-pharmaceutical industry.

She is a senior advisor to the Jeremy Coller Foundation, and sits on the advisory boards of a number of prominent healthcare and technology companies.

Lulit works at the intersection of finance, healthcare and technology to develop new business opportunities, with a focus on low and middle income countries, particularly in Africa.

Dr Solomon is a member on the Advisory Council of The Elders since 2011. Founded by Nelson Mandela in 2007, The Elders are a group of independent global leaders who work together with governments and key stakeholders around the world to advance peace and human rights. Lulit is actively engaged with global initiatives on universal health coverage. Formerly chaired by the late Kofi Annan, the Elders is now chaired by Mary Robinson, first woman President of Ireland and former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.

Lulit is also a leader in the global Antimicrobial Resistance action plan covering human and animal health, the environment and the food chain.

Lulit holds a MPhil and PhD in Epidemiology from Cambridge University and, as a fellow of the Cancer Intelligence Unit, has strong links with international governmental and non- governmental institutions, including public health agencies.
